People often ask me why we use a travel agent when it's so easy to use Expedia or other online tools. Recently my wife and I showed up at the airport to embark on a two week vacation in Italy to discover the airline had cancelled the final leg of our flight from Paris to Naples and postponed it by over 24 hours. While sitting in the terminal, I contacted Pennie, who got to work finding and scheduling a flight on another carrier; she forwarded the new ticket info to me on my cell before we even boarded our plane out of KC! The new plans went off without a hitch, as did the three train trips, transfers and multiple hotel reservations she made for us. Back in KC, Pennie cancelled the original flight and sent me information on how to request a refund once we returned. This is the second time Pennie has "rescued" us from an unforeseen hitch, turning a potentially stressful and frustrating situations into minor obstacles. You don't get that from Expedia!

Pennie is on top of things. Makes all needed arrangements, discusses and presents options, points out things you may have forgotten.
